In Super Mario Maker, there are a few characters that appear in the editor to aid players. One of them is Yamamura, a pigeon who’s a master at making levels and helps Mary-O give tips to players. He’s stepping out of the instruction manual and into the game, however, as he’s getting his own costume.

Nintendo’s European branch was the first to announce the costume on Twitter. Yamamura will be available after playing a Super Mario Maker Event Level. It will be added to Course World on January 13.

Yamamura is a Rock Dove, much like Ryouta from Hatoful Boyfriend. As such, he’s a basic, grey pigeon. However, he’s set apart from other birds by the red “M” on his chest.

Super Mario Maker is immediately available for the Nintendo Wii U.
