One incredible gamer has accomplished the unthinkable and has beaten the Nintendo 64 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, all while being completely blind. [Thanks, Eurogamer.]

Terry Garrett began his inspiring feat back in 2011 and five years later, with a few hiatuses, he has finally finished the game. Understandably, the achievement was the product of much trial and error as Garrett relied only on interpreting the various sounds, whether they were from walls, enemies, or the rest of the environment, as they were played through speakers placed directly in front of him.

To experience Garrett’s journey from start to finish, you can visit his YouTube channel, where his entire playthrough is available in a series of videos.

For those wanting to check out the epic finale in which he defeats Ganon, you can watch the video below.

“It has been long in the making, but I have finally accomplished my goal!” Garrett wrote in the description of the final video, and went on to thank the many viewers who had stuck with him on his journey.
