We also get a look at a few new, albeit blurry, screenshots from the game, and the first few show us what could be a dungeon as well as the interior of an inn. In addition, concept art for a train was also shown, and the developers say this train plays an important role in the game’s story.

It was also mentioned during the presentation that over 10,000 pieces of artwork were created for Final Fantasy XV. Hamzer also delved into the ideas behind the game’s approach to technology, which can be broken down into the following points:

  • Game design doesn’t limit the experience.
  • Beautiful graphics that are easily immersive.
  • Maintain aesthetical beauty throughout 24-hour cycle.
  • Deliver a sense of reality for every fantastical element.

Final Fantasy XV is in development for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. More details about the game’s release are expected to be revealed during an event held by Square Enix sometime in March 2016.
