In 2009, Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamari Damacy and Wattam, and Bandai Namco released Noby Noby Boy. The PlayStation 3, and later Apple iOS, game is all about stetching a character known as BOY as far as possible. Points are awarded and, when submitted to Sun, help GIRL stretch throughout the solar system. Now, in 2015, GIRL has finally reached Pluto.

Alice Eidson captured the moment where Noby Noby Boy’s GIRL finally reached Pluto on video. It took players 2,468 days to reach that planet. This means that Pluto is now selectable as a playable area in the game. The next stop on GIRL’s journey is the Sun.

Noby Noby Boy is no longer available on Apple iOS devices as of October 9, 2012. It is still available for the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Store for $4.99.
