Mario’s Slapstick Manga Character Now Playable In Super Mario Maker

Following a recent update, a new level is available in Super Mario Maker. In Event Courses, players can take on the “Super Mari- Kun 25th Anniversary” course, and completing it rewards you with the costume seen in the above image.

The level was designed by Yukio Sawada, creator of the long-running Super Mario-Kun comedy manga series from CoroCoro Comic. The first bit of the course contains an anniversary message, but it doesn’t take long for enemies to eventually show up.

Super Mario Maker is available for the Wii U.
