Bandai Namco has posted on the Steam forums to say that its free-to-play 2v2 fighting game Rise of Incarnates is being shut down. This comes as a surprise considering the game launched only a few months ago, on July 1st.

The in-game currency, Incarnate Points, will no longer be available to purchase on Steam after October 14th. The servers will remain open for remaining players until December 15th 2015. After that it will no longer be playable.

Between those dates, all of the characters in the game will be available for free and all of the in-game items will have a reduced price (some of them will be free, too).
