Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force, the latest entry in Bandai Namco’s Extreme VS action series, got its latest trailer that shows off its new modes and various Mobile Suits in action.
While it may look and sound like the arcade game, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force isn’t a port of it, and it has its own new features such as the new large-scale battle modes that will let you command units in battle.
In this new mode, you’ll get to form a team three platoons consisting of six Mobile Suits and a battleship.
The “Extreme Force” is the game’s main mode, and you’ll basically go through original missions as episodes and they’ll span from Mobile Suit Gundam through Mobile Suit Gundam UC. This mode will let you take on missions, get Mobile Suits, level up your pilot, and create your team to your liking.
The “Force Battle” mode is the familiar 2-on-2 battle mode, where you can get a pair of Mobile Suits and take on a friend in Ad-hoc battles. There are various Mobile Suits that have been confirmed thus far, and you can check out more in our earlier report.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force will release in Japan on December 23, 2015 for PlayStation Vita.
