Level-5 and International advertising and public relations company Dentsu formed a new subsidiary called Level-5 Abby Inc., which will create, produce, and distribute content for children and adults, game and anime fans around the world. The official website tells us more.

From the Level-5 press:

Multi-media entertainment company Level-5 abby Inc. creates, produces and distributes highly engaging content for children, adults and game/anime fans worldwide. The company’s mission is to bring its universally-themed popular game and animation content from Japan to fans globally, across all platforms and all devices. Level-5 abby makes a strong commitment to maintaining its position on the frontier where the newest technologies and great entertainment intersect.

The management team is led by Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino and COO Yukari Hayakawa. You can read more about their profile and on Level-5 on the official page.

While we still don’t know what more to expect from Level-5, the Yo-kai Watch anime will begin airing on October 5th at 5pm ET/PT on Disney XD, and the Nintendo 3DS game which launches on November 6.

Level-5 also revealed their next major cross media project in Snack World, and with the announcement of Level-5 abby, there’s a good chance that we’ll see it in the West, especially if Yo-kai Watch does well.
