Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja lead Yosuke Hayashi has been busy working on titles like Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 for PS4 and Vita, but he revealed in an interview in this week’s issue of Famitsu that they’re currently working on a lot more. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]
During the interview, Hayashi stated that if they are to make a brand new title like Dead or Alive 6, they would possibly make it for current generation consoles only. However, according to the Dead or Alive producer, Koei Tecmo are currently working on several titles exclusively for the PlayStation 4, and these titles are not going to be made for PlayStation 3.
While he didn’t reveal which titles, he stated “they will end up releasing in 2016 and beyond, but we’ll release all kinds of things that we couldn’t do up until now.”
Hayashi says that these games won’t be held back with the limitations of past generation console specs with multi-platform developments, so they’ll be able to offer a new form of enjoyment with these upcoming titles.
