Super Mario Maker Makes Bowser Vs. Bowser Battles A Reality

Super Mario Maker turns amiibos into Mystery Suit mushrooms. Grab one of these and you can transform Mario into Link, Wii Fit Trainer, and Bowser. A new trailer from Japan shows the Bowser amiibo is compatible with Super Mario Maker which changes Mario into his nemesis.

While you will need a Bowser amiibo to create a Bowser Mystery Suit mushroom, you can play still play as Bowser without the amiibo. Courses uploaded by players retain Mystery Suit mushrooms, so you just need to download a level created by another player who used the Bowser amiibo.

Super Mario Maker comes out on September 10 in Japan and September 11 in the West.
