Based on Samurai Warriors 4-II, Samurai Warriors 4: Empires adds more strategic elements to Omega Force’s typical hack and slash gameplay. Players will be able to control military commanders in a new strategic room and the options players have will change depending on the advice you choose to listen to from your advisors.

Koei Tecmo says the roster of warlords will be the same as Samurai Warriors 4-II and over 100 female commanders. Preorders include a bonus mission, the Siege of Osaka.

Samurai Warriors 4 Empires is scheduled to come out on September 3 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 3.
