It’s been 15 years since the Langrisser series saw a new title, and the series will revive in the form of Langrisser Re: Incarnation for Nintendo 3DS. The official website details how you’ll go from stage to stage in the upcoming strategy RPG.

As the stage starts, you’ll take control of the commander, and work towards the objective requirement in order to clear the stage. Once you do, it’ll go onto the next stage.

Healer classes have higher action order, but cavaliers with higher mobility will be later, although they can travel further. Other classes such as mercenaries are also faster, so they’ll have their turns around the same time as healers.

The parameter menu has all kinds of information, with some of the basics being attack, defense, and range. You can also check how they do against other classes, topography effects, and information on support.

Prior to attacking enemies, you’ll get to double check the opponent’s information to get an idea on how well your attack will do, or whether the opponent is stronger or not. This feature will come in handy, so you don’t end up being put in a tough spot after attacking a much tougher enemy.

Once you defeat an enemy, you’ll get experience points and money. Again, there’s a chance you can acquire an item if they’re equipped with one. Your characters will level up after getting enough experience points, and can change classes after hitting level 10.

Langrisser Re: Incarnation will release in Japan on July 23, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
