Nintendo revealed during this year’s E3 that Hyrule Warriors is headed to the 3DS as Hyrule Warriors Legends. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine shares a few more details on what else is new in the game.

In addition to having all the characters including the DLC characters from the Wii U title, Hyrule Warriors Legends will also add two new characters in Tetra and King of Hyrule from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Hyrule Warriors Legends will also add new story elements, including one that is based off The Wind Waker as an addition to the 3DS game, and will focus around Tetra and King of Hyrule.

In battle, Tetra uses a pair of cutlasses to slice up enemies, and will excel in close-ranged combat with her blades, and can also use her pistol to shoot down enemies from a distance. She’s said to have pirate-like swiftness in her moves.

We’re not too sure how King of Hyrule fights, but the screenshots show him using wind-based attacks in his normal form, and what appears to be his King of Red Lions’ ship form, as he wipes out enemies with a wave.

Hyrule Warriors Legends will release in Q1 2016 for Nintendo 3DS. You can catch its E3 trailer in our earlier report.
