Monster Hunter Diary DX is a Nintendo 3DS version of the 2010 PSP title, where players get to play as Monster Hunter Felynes and participate in various activities such as hunting monsters and mini-games. The official website shares what’s new in the upcoming version.
First, is a look at anew area that is located under a giant tree. It’s where you’ll get to interact with some baby versions of monsters seen throughout the series.
So far, we know that you can get a baby Yian Kut-Ku and a baby Rathalos. Aren’t they cute? Just give them a few years until they’ll want to bite your head off.
The above is a look at Seregios in his Monster Hunter Diary DX form. Seregios isn’t the only one, as there are other monsters from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate that will make an appearance in the game’s exploration quests.
There are also some new Felynes based on caracters from Monster Hunter 4, like the Caravaneer and the Guildmarm. There’s also “Regios” a Felyne that appears to be pretty confident in his gear.
Monster Hunter Diary DX will release in Japan on September 10, 2015. You can check out our earlier report for a look at its first trailer.
