Warner Bros. have revealed two more pre-order bonuses for Batman: Arkham Knight in North America. Pre-ordering the game will allow one to avail a “Gotham’s Future” skin pack, which consists of Batman skins from two possible future continuities.

One of these is Batman’s look from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, where Batman comes out of retirement and ends up facing off against Superman. The other is the Batsuit from Batman Beyond, but the Arkham Knight version looks very different, and much more technologically-inclined than before.

For comparison, above is an image of the Batman Beyond suit from Batman: Arkham City (on the extreme left). The suit was sold as part of a $5 DLC pack containing other outfits like Earth One Batman, the 1970s Neal Adams Batman, the Batman from Batman the Animated Series, and more. Oh, and to the right of the Batman Beyond suit is the Dark Knight Returns suit in Arkham City. That one looks more or less the same.

Unfortunately, we’ve never gotten the Batman Beyond suit in its animated cartoon style in any of the mainline Arkham games so far. It did make an appearance in the mobile version of Batman: Arkham Origins, though, which you can see below.
