The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC Evolution is an enhanced version of the game from Char-Ani and Kadokawa Games, with improvements from the PSP version which we’ll see on the PlayStation Vita. 4Gamer recaps some of its new features, along with a look at more illustrations and screenshots.
The above is a look at some of the additional illustrations we’ll see in the new PlayStation Vita version of the game. There will also be more voice acting in the game.
As far as battles go, Trails in the Sky FC Evolution will add new status conditions and status up effects that weren’t previously in the game. For example, some moves will have added burn, HP recovery, or CP recovery to them.
Additionally, Crafts will now have parameter up and down effects to them, which will not only help your party, but will also make things a little tougher at times, as enemy characters will also have their moves adjusted accordingly.
Here’s a recap on some of the new features:
Field Attacks are new to the upcoming version, where you can hit enemies on the field for an advantage, or get hit from behind by enemies for a disadvantage to start the fight.
Animated scenes in battle have been improved with new illustrations for S-Crafts and upgraded visual effects.
AT Bonuses have also been added.
A fast-forwarding option has been added.
New and improved UI.
New escape chance percentages will be shown. Depending on whether you get a preemptive strike to start battles or start with a disadvantage, the percentage will vary.
Message history can now be read. Additionally, you can press the circle button to replay voiced messages. A new auto-message feature is done by pressing the R button for text to appear automatically. Messages can also be fast-forwarded with the X button.
