During this afternoon’s Nintendo Direct, we got a sneak peek at what’s to come with the latest Amiibo wave, and a few more exclusive Amiibo figures for Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
The fourth wave of Amiibo featuring Charizard, PAC-MAN, Wario, Jigglypuff, Greninja, Robin, Lucina and Ness will finally arrive on May 29th. Meanwhile, Dark Pit and Palutena will get their own Amiibo figurines this July.
A new set of five Amiibo figures will also release this September. They feature Olimar, Bowser Jr., Dr. Mario, Zero Suit Samus, and Ganondorf.
Splatoon will also get a set of three Amiibo figures, and they’ll be compatible with the upcoming Wii U title. These will be available on May 29th as well.
Finally, the Yoshi’s Woolly World Amiibo will come in three colors. For the first time, they’ll be made of a different fabric to give it more of a wool look and feel, instead of the regular plastic figurines we’ve seen with Amiibo figurines.
