Mark two game closures down for June 30. In addition to Destiny of Spirits, Sega announced they will shut down Initial D: Perfect Shift Online, too. While the free to play Nintendo 3DS game is tied to the popular street racing manga, Initial D: Perfect Shift Online was not your typical racing game. Sega simplified the controls to shifting gears and using collectable cards plus car tuning to influence a race.

The game was released on April 2, 2014 and back in November, Initial D: Perfect Shift Online reached the 500,000 download mark. Sega still plans to do a one year anniversary event on April 1, 2015. Initial D: Perfect Shift Online will be available to download from the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan up to May 27, about a month before the game closes for good.
