IA/VT Colorful Performs Inner Arts, Shows New Costumes

Marvelous is working on a vocaloid game starring IA. Originally, scheduled to come out last year, IA/VT Colorful was delayed for almost a year. During this time, Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki changed the gameplay system to have eight buttons. Players can hit notes by tapping on the D-pad’s four directions and the four face buttons. The note patterns in the renewed IA/VT Colorful appear to be more complex than the original game as seen below.

Chaining notes together in portions of the song called a Colorful Section fills up the Colorful Gauge. If you can fill this up, the game will splatter a rainbow of colors on screen. Players will be able to tap to IA/VT Colorful’s songs in Real Time (with changing colors), the original music videos or made for game music videos.

Famitsu has a look at the costumes in IA/VT Colorful. Diva, Punk Rock, Nekomimi Maid, Winter Muffler, and Cyber Elf are some of the outfits in the PlayStation Vita game.

IA/VT Colorful is slated for release on June 25 for PlayStation Vita.
