Ys and The Legend of Heroes makers, Falcom, recently announced a new title by the name of Tokyo Xanadu, a game that blends Falcom’s action RPG knowhow with a modern day setting. According to the latest report, the game will be on PlayStation Vita. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

We still don’t know much about the game except that it takes place in Morimiya City, a suburb of Tokyo, featuring high school students Koh and Asuka who enter the world of Xanadu.

Falcom also previously shared a teaser image for the game (shown above), along with text saying “Falcom’s brand new title! Something quite different from all the games up until now; Falcom’s new ‘challenge’ begins!”

Tokyo Xanadu will release in 2015 for PlayStation Vita. More details on the game are expected to be revealed soon.
