The Legend of Legacy has sold quite well for FuRyu, as it made it as its highest opening for any FuRyu game in recent years after selling through 83% of its shipment. It looks like FuRyu won’t be stopping there, as 4Gamer reports they’ve added a demo to the Nintendo eShop.
After heavily promoting the fact that The Legend of Legacy is developed by former Square Enix staff, including those that worked on the SaGa franchise, FuRyu are looking to reach a bigger audience with the new demo.
While the game released last month, FuRyu aim to get more people, especially those who were on the fence about buying the game, to at least try it out with the demo first, which they feel could do a good job at convincing them to buy the full game.
As for the demo itself, it’ll have a chunk of the game’s early stages, where you’ll be able to transfer your save data along with its characters learned moves and acquired money to the full version of the game.
We previously mentioned that it should be interesting to see how The Legend of Legacy does for the next few weeks after its release, and its numbers a year from now, but it looks like FuRyu are already taking action by adding the new demo to the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
The Legend of Legacy’s demo is currently available to try out in Japan.
