Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Isn’t All War, There’s Chocobo Riding Too

Orience is at war in Final Fantasy Type-0, but the RPG isn’t an endless series of battles. Players can explore The Vermillion Bird peristylia where Class Zero resides. The town area has a Chocobo Ranch where you can ride chocobos and moogles.

Each character in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD uses a different weapon. Machina’s twin rapiers can create a spinning sword barrier around him when you use Sword Field. Nine is armed with spears and can throw them at enemies. Queen uses a sword and her Cross Judge ability creates a beam of light at the cost of her ability gauge. When this ability is activated, you can control Queen to rotate the beam. Ace throws cards and has an ability that traps enemies. Rem’s Magic Satellite ability creates a targeting circle and hits enemies with a beam of magic energy from the sky.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD comes out on March 17, 2015 in North America, March 19 in Japan, and March 20 in Europe.
