Sword Art Online: Lost Song Shares Details Its Online Multiplayer

Bandai Namco recently shared a first look at three new characters for Sword Art Online: Lost Song that came from a TV commercial that teased the latest. They also shared some new information on the game’s online multiplayer, and some information on the new characters. [Thanks, Game Jouhou]

 

Sword Art Online: Lost Song will have online multiplayer co-op, and will also have a lobby that can have up to 16 people in it. However, only four players will get to tag up to take on quests together. The online lobby will have a chat feature and emotes that can be used for players to communicate amongst each other.

 

Here’s a look at some new character details from the report:

 

Seven:

A genius scientist from Russia.

Sumeragi:

A young man that accompanies and protects Seven, almost like a bodyguard. He’s also the leader of a guild called “Shamrock”.

Rain:

Rain is a young girl who can also dual-wield like Kirito, and has an exceptionally high “Hide” skill. She seems to follow around Kirito and friends for some reason.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is slated for release in Japan on March 26, 2015 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
