DmC Devil May Cry is coming to current-gen consoles, Capcom announced this morning.

DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition is in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will include the game, all previously released downloadable content (including the Vergil’s Downfall episode), as well as new modes and features.

New to the Definitive Edition is the ability to play as Vergil in the Bloody Palace mode. Additionally, the game will now include the added “Gods Must Die” and “Must Style” mode for added challenge, as well as a Hardcore mode, which is designed to play more like the classic Devil May Cry games. Additionally, new costumes for Dante and Vergil will be included, and these will be based on classic DMC designs.

The game will run at 1080p at 60 frames-per-second on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. In addition to the smoother framerate, fan feedback from DmC Devil May Cry is being implemented in DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, as well as stage modifiers such as a Turbo Mode, which increases the speed of play.

DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be released on March 17th for $39.99 / €39.99.

Update: Trailer added.
