The first Fire Emblem game to ever be released in the U.S. will be available on the Wii U Virtual Console today in North America. The game will cost $7.99.

 

Fire Emblem’s main characters are Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector. The game is technically the seventh in the series, and takes place 20 years prior to the events of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade.

 

In addition to Fire Emblem, the Wii U Virtual Console also gets Lode Runner for $4.99. The game supports 2 players, and includes the Edit Mode, which lets you design your own stages.
