Great Edo Blacksmith offers plenty of activities and events, but you’ll need to know how to manage time when it comes to making promises with girls, and doing everything you can before the protagonist passes away. 4Gamer shows us how it’s done.
Great Edo Blacksmith is split into a two parts, where you’ll spend time dungeon crawling in one part, then using the acquired material to make weapons, which can then be sold for money to spend on finding love.
You can also gamble some of the money away for a chance to get more to spend, but keep in mind that if you lose too much, it might set you back a little, which wouldn’t be the best thing considering that the protagonist only has a year left to live.
Once you spend enough money and time on the girls, you can participate in mini-games that require you to touch them in the right spots. Yes, this is all part of the plan of getting one of them to fall in love with you.
The above is a look at the main menu, which has all the areas of town to go with your stats. It also indicates how many days you have left, just to remind you that you shouldn’t spend all of your time in dungeons or gambling.
Since you’d want to get the best out of your material you gathered from the dungeons, the blacksmith feature actually has more to it, so you can make higher quality items. The more value they have, the more money you can make when selling them as well.
The “Fortune” stat will make gambling more tempting, as it can determine your overall luck. This stat changes depending on what you do during events in own, and it’ll also increase your chances of getting rare items in dungeons.
While you could get lucky and make most of your money by gambling, dungeon crawling is where you’ll do most of that to play it safe. However, keep in mind that the further you get, more time from the protagonist’s lifespan gets chipped away.
With your hard-earned money, you’ll get to spend plenty of time with the girls. However, if you can’t keep a promise with them and let time go by, they’ll end up disliking you, so make sure you don’t get too distracted earning money!
Great Edo Blacksmith will release in November 27, 2014 for PlayStation Vita.
