Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Gets A Balance Update Patch

A version 1.0.4 update for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is now available to download via the eShop. The update is required in order to play the game online, and while Nintendo have not yet released patch notes, here’s the very brief gist of the changes:

• Adjustments will be made to balance the game.
• Other adjustments will be made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.

Note that, once you install the update, you will no longer be able to play local multiplayer with users that don’t have the update installed. Additionally, any replay data that was saved prior to the update will no longer be playable.
