Arc System Works revealed that Leo Whitefang will be a new playable character via DLC for Guilty Gear Xrd Sign. Famitsu shares a look at Leo and a little bit of his back story, and a look at the game’s online lobby.
Leo Whitefang:
Leo is one of the three “Allied Kings” of the Allied Kingdom of Illyria. He shared a friendly rival’s relationship with Ky Kiske, whom he was once good friends with during the Crusade Era.
His battle capabilities and leadership are said to be so outstanding that, one time, while facing the dangers of being annihilated in the battlefront, he managed to lead his unit back to safety.
Due to his disorderly way of speaking, he might seem like an open-hearted man, but he’s actually rather conservative. He has a high self-esteem and hates losing, and he’s also a hard worker who always gives it his all.
As a hobby, he’s been working on a “my dictionary,” about people he knows and various events, as something he personally enjoys. For example, under the word “devil,” he put the name of his elder sister.
The above is a look at the online lobby, where up to 64 people can get together to chat and gather up for competitive rooms.
Additionally, a “character system voice” DLC will release in December 9 for 300 yen, where you’ll get to customize the system voice with one from the 17 characters.
Guilty Gear Xrd Sign will release in Japan on December 4 and in North America on December 14 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
