Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is set in a war torn world where you lead Class Zero, a group of students from an elite military academy, after a neighboring country attacks their home. The story was influenced by director Hajime Tabata’s love for history and if you’re wondering why kids were sent out to save the world Siliconera asked him about that.
When bringing Final Fantasy Type-0 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Tabata tweaked the game’s combat, but had to remove the multiplayer missions. Square Enix is working on a feature to replace the sleep mode leveling system from the PSP version too.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD comes out on March 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders from select retailers will include a code to download a Final Fantasy XV demo.
