Awakened Fate Ultimatum protagonist Shin can go God Mode in the upcoming roguelike PlayStation 3 title, but he can also go in angel and demon God Modes. The game’s latest trailers gives us a demonstration of the two in action.
The demon version is linked through the heroine Arle and is said to have all kinds of tricky moves. Its dark attribute attacks work quite well against the light-based enemies, and can do plenty of damage against them. Additionally, it can also get some perks in defense as well.
The demon transformation also has a special attack called “Law of Chaos” shown at 0:53, that basically takes out all the enemies in vicinity, but even if Shin is technically a god, it doesn’t seem like he’ll be able to abuse these powers too much.
Next is the angel-type that is linked through Jupiel’s spiritual powers. The angelic transformation excels in swordsmanship and close-ranged combat, contrary to the demon mode that is better at attacking from a distance.
Its light attributes work well against dark enemies, and it focuses more on growing attack rather than defense, so that you can take out enemies in swift fashion with sword-based attacks.
The special attack shown at the 0:55 mark focuses on dealing massive damage to one target, so if you have an option, this might be the go-to move when fighting a tough boss.
Awakened Fate Ultimatum will be released in Spring 2015 in North America and Europe for PlayStation 3.
