The “Fafnir” in the title is actually the protagonist’s power that lets him go into beast mode.

He looks like a serious guy, but at the same time, seems to get along pretty well with a cheerful childhood buddy like Flavio.

Arianna is the princess of the Duke of Caledonia, who is headed to some unknown ruins called “Gunnunga” to partake in a ceremony that takes place once every hundred years.

While the protagonist’s childhood friend Flavio is the life of a party and overall cheerful guy, he’s also the straight man of the group, so we’ll probably see him telling off the slacking Paladin Bertrand on numerous occasions.

Bertrand might look like a proper, gallant paladin at first glance, but he’s actually a slacker, irresponsible, and overall not that great of a person. However, he does seem to stick around chloe, so he might not bas as bad as we all think?

Chloe is a War Magus who has been traveling around with Bertrand. She seems to only go into action whenever she’s interested in something, and not much else is known about her because… she hardly ever talks.

Her quote of “Is that fun? Then… Chloe is interested” might give you a better idea of her type of character.
