Bandai Namco Games has another Kamen Rider game slated for release this year, but Kamen Rider: Summonride isn’t another Battride War sequel. The upcoming game is pretty much Kamen Rider meets Skylanders. A new set of Kamen Rider toys that connect with Kamen Rider: Summonride will be distributed by Bandai in packs of Rider figures and chip sets. Just like Skylanders or Disney Infinity, players will be able to bring these characters into the game by placing figures on a pod.

Kamen Rider: Summonride will be the first local Japanese game with the Skylanders concept. Bandai Namco has experience selling figure/game combos since they brought Disney Infinity to Japan. Square Enix handled the Skylanders series for the region.

Kamen RIder: Summonrider is slated for release this December for Wii U and PlayStation 3.
