Takamaru From Mysterious Murasame Castle Is An Assist Trophy In Super Smash Bros.

The Mysterious Murasame Castle has been confirmed for release on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in North America, and to coincide with the news, the game’s protagonist, Takamaru, has been confirmed as an assist trophy in Smash.

 

Director Masahiro Sakurai posted the screenshot above to Miiverse with the following description: “I, Takamaru, have waited many years to appear in Super Smash Bros.! Link, Samus, Pit, and I debuted in the same year! Multidirectional Pinwheel Knife Rook Attack!! (FYI, I’m an Assist Trophy.)”

 

Super Smash Bros. will be released for Nintendo 3DS this October. A Wii U release is scheduled for later in the year during the holiday season.
