Tekken X Street Fighter is not cancelled, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada said during a Q&A following discussion of Tekken 7 at Comic-Con.

The game, Harada said, is still in development and is moving forward, but with all of the other products being created, it needs its own spotlight. It isn’t cancelled, so please relax, Harada emphasized.

Tekken X Street Fighter was originally announced back in 2010, alongside Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken. Back in 2011, Harada said to Siliconera that the team had not begun prototyping for Tekken X Street Fighter at that point in time. Then, in 2013, he provided us with a few scant details of the game.

Unlike the latter game, Tekken X Street Fighter is a 3D fighter using the fighting game engine of the Tekken series.
