Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for Wii U will be available in North America on November 18th, Sega announced today. Dates for Europe and other territories haven’t been announced yet, but are coming “soon” according to the publisher.
Meanwhile, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for Nintendo 3DS will be released on November 11th in North America. Once again, dates for Europe and other regions will be shared in the near future.
Both Sonic Boom games are part of a larger franchise that encompasses an animated television series as well as a variety of merchandise.
Sega have said that the two Sonic Boom titles, which are being developed by Big Red Button and Sanzaru, are not meant to replace the regular Sonic series, but serve as an alternate take on the characters.
