Square Enix Holding Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Contest

Square Enix have announced a music contest for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. Starting August 5th, fans will be able to participate in the contest by creating and uploading a music video of themselves playing the Final Fantasy theme.

 

In order to qualify, all submissions must be approximately one minute and thirty seconds in length, and should “include a sign participants stating their favourite Final Fantasy game”. The contest will be judged by Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.

 

Here’s what’s on the line, in terms of prizes:

 

  • Complimentary trip for two to attend an upcoming Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy concert

 

  • All of the official soundtracks for the numbered Final Fantasy titles

 

  • One Final Fantasy Static Arts Mini Figure

 

  • Signed Collector’s Edition of the game

 

  • Signed Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Limited Edition Japanese Nintendo 3DS system

 

Runners-up will also be eligible for prizes, including soundtracks from various Final Fantasy games, signed collectors editions of Curtain Call and Static Arts figures. The contest will begin August 5th and last until August 24th, 2014. More details here.
