The Guided Fate: Cross Theses Awakening protagonist Shin can awaken his God Mode while taking on enemies in the roguelike dungeons. While he might not always be as powerful as a god, he can get help from his angel and demon girlfriends to kick things up a notch.
The God Mode Resonance is an ability that can be activated through the help of one of the game’s heroines. When active, all abilities can be used at the cost of zero SP, making it one powerful feature.
Additionally, Shin can also use something called “Resonance Skills,” powerful attacks that can only be used in this mode. There are angel and demon varieties to each one, as well.
The above is a look at the light-based variety, which calls out a giant sword made of light to destroy enemies.
The dark version is also just as strong, as it can get rid of all the enemies in the entire area.
Shin’s equipment can be enhanced in two ways. One is through a basic equipment enhancement feature, and another way is by inserting items called Skill Crystals.
Equipment enhancement can be done by finding enhancement material in the dungeons. By using them, you can increase the item’s rank by adding +1, +2, and so on, which adds to their parameters.
Adding Skill Crystals to the equipment can enhance Shin with all kinds of different skills, so you’ll be able to add extra things like counter, trap recovery, attack number bonus, and more. Since there are varieties of skills, this feature lets you adjust Shin to fit your own play style.
Here’s a look at a new character named Latisha Lideradeus. She’s a mysterious young girl who seems to appear protagonist’s dreams. Even after he becomes God, she occasionally appears in his dreams to leave cryptic messages, only to vanish shortly afterwards.
The Guided Fate: Cross Thesis Awakening is slated for release in Japan on July 24, 2014 for PlayStation 3 in Japan. NIS America will release the game in North America and Europe in 2015.
