Japanese games thrive on collaborations and Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure puts the Felynes from Monster Hunter into the game as party members.
By playing the Monster Hunter 4 medley you can unlock a Felyne costume Don. You can also find Felynes who are looking for someone to help them fight Gore Magala, one of the headline monsters from Monster Hunter 4. Defeat Gore Magala to get Mon and Hun in your party.
Jibanyan from Yo-kai Watch is in the Nintendo 3DS RPG too. Find Jibanyan and to add him to your party. Don can also get a Jibanyan costume if you clear Yo-kai Watch’s opening theme in Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure.
Funassyi, a mascot character that represents a city in Chiba, is also in Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure as a party member. Funassyi rose in popularity with the song Funa Funa Funassyi which is in the Nintendo 3DS game. Clear it and you can get a Funassyi costume.
A Kumamon costume is in the game, which you can unlock by playing "Kumamoto Surprise." You can also get an Idolm@ster costume by playing "Only My Note."
Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure comes out on June 26 in Japan.
