Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines starts you out with eight basic job classes, and it might be tough to keep track of all of them. Sony made a video showing off all their main attributes, along with a look at two special classes.

The video starts out with a look at the heavy armored Swordsman class that excels in attack and defense in the frontlines of battle. Following is the Archer, that has a nice range for attacks with power that rivals the Swordsman.

Like the Swordsmen, the Naginata warriors specialize in attacks that can take out the entire front row of enemies and they have the power to go with it. They can also equip sturdy armor. The Spearmen are similar to Naginata users, but have better reach and focus more on offense.

Dancers don’t have much power, but they make up for it using their fans for wide-ranged attacks and by evading enemy hits. The hammer-wielding Destroyer class that serves the sole purpose of having explosive power.

Monks are best at close-ranged combat and put their powerful kicking attacks to use. They don’t have much armor, but they make up for it with evasion. Cannoneers also pack a punch, but they attack from a distance with shots that can switch between single and shotgun-like spread shots for multiple targets.

At 2:25, we get a look at some special characters like Onigashira. When a character becomes the powerful Onigashira, they can no longer leave behind kids, and they also become erased from the family tree.

Finally, the video shows a bit of Nueko, the goddess who sacrified her life in to save the family. You can read more details about her fighting style in our earlier report.

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines will be released on July 17, 2014 for PlayStation Vita in Japan, and it will also be coming to the west at some point in time.
