The game takes place in the same place as the anime, Photon City, where you’ll control the likes of the Mazinger Z parody protagonist Z-chan, and her friend Gre-chan (Great Mazinger,) Grenda-san (Grendizer) and more, including new characters to the series.

While details on the gameplay are scarce for the time being, the battle is played with a turn-based system, where the goal is to defend the town while beating up other robot girls.

You can make your own little robot girl armies using special in-game design plans, or recruit them using your virtual or real-life money. The robot girls can be enhanced by leveling them up with experience points, which might help in the tougher stages that await.

Robot Girls Z Online’s open beta will launch in the near future.
