Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is an upcoming game where digital and real worlds will be coming together, where the protagonists uses a special ability called “Connect Jump” to travel between worlds. The latest issue of V Jump reveals the game’s female protagonist. (Thanks, Hachima.)
According to the magazine report, players will be able to select between a male of female protagonist (shown on the bottom-left). While details are light on the character choice, V Jump will reveal more in the next issue.
Additionally, we also get a look at two new characters you’ll be meeting in Cyber Space. The guy in the white hoodie is Arata Sanada, a former skilled hacker. The red-haired girl below him is Nokia Shiramine, a positive girl who puts on a brave face, but she’s actually a bit of a scaredy cat.
In Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, players will be able to capture enemy Digimon by using a data scan feature that lets you recruit them once the data goes over 100%. There will also be some Digimon that can manipulate hackers, and considering that the protagonist is one himself (or herself,) sounds like they could be a pain to handle.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is currently in development for PlayStation Vita, and is expected for release sometime in 2015.
