Persona 4 Golden: The Animation Has A New Director

Last week, Atlus revealed Persona 4 Golden: The Animation, a new Persona 4 Golden anime series featuring the new character Marie from the PlayStation Vita game. 4Gamer shares a closer look at some of the anime’s characters, along with some information on the staff.

Tomohisa Taguchi, who previously worked on the opening and other key parts of Persona 4: The Animation, like episode 8’s school camping trip and episode 14’s summer vacation parts, will be the new director for Persona 4 Golden: The Animation.

 

Meanwhile, Seiji Kishi, the director of the previous series, will be returning as the chief director to support the new series. Composer Shoji Meguro, scenario writer Jun Kumagai, character designer Yu Shindo, and many other key staff members will also reprise their roles for the upcoming anime.

 

Additionally, Persona 4 Golden: The Animation will  be bringing back all the voice actors from the first series and the game, including Persona 4 Golden’s voice actress for Marie, Kana Hanazawa, who is also known for voicing Mayuri Shiina in Steins;Gate, Plutia from the Hyperdimension Neptunia games, and numerous other roles.
