Castlevania: Dracula X is a remake of Rondo of Blood for Super Nintendo. Richter Belmont is the protagonist in both games, but Maria isn’t playable in Dracula X. The Super Nintendo version also has different levels and is much harder to complete.

Castlevania: Dracula X will be re-released as a Virtual Console game for Wii U in Japan on April 23. We’re confident that we’ll see Dracula X in the West since it was rated in Australia before Nintendo officially confirmed it for Virtual Console. That means Castlevania: Bloodlines, a Castlevania game for Genesis, will move up the rarity scale.
