Update: Nintendo informed us that the Mickey Edition 3DS XL will only be available at Wal-Mart. The limited edition console will not be available at the Nintendo World Store. The story has been updated with this information.

Nintendo will release a Disney Magical World-themed Nintendo 3DS XL in North America, the publisher announced this morning. The system will be available at Wal-Mart stores ~~and the Nintendo World Store in New York~~.

You can catch a glimpse of the Disney Magical World-themed “Mickey Edition” 3DS XL in the promotional images (provided by Nintendo) above. The photographs are of actor G Hannelius filming a promo for the game with actor Cole Pendery.

Disney Magical World will be available in North America on April 11th.
