Hot on the heels of their last game, Unhack, Australian-based indie dev Invert Mouse have unveiled to Siliconera exclusively the first teaser shots for their next visual novel, Bermuda.
The game will star a bevy of well-known voice actors, including Kyle Hebert (Gurren Lagann’s Kamina and Fire Emblem’s Frederick), Kira Buckland (Luminous Arc 2’s Karen), Cristina Vee (Magical Girl Nanoha’s titular character and Hyperdimension Neptunia’s Compa) and Xanthe Huynh (Atelier Meruru’s Meruru and Sword Art Online’s Sachi).
The game is intended to be a seven-episode visual novel with open-ended stealth sections. The characters within have been abducted by a “USO,” or Unidentified Submerged Object, and have to escape in “a tale of trust and deceit”. Ooh, backstabbing. And slightly reminiscent of KID’s Ever 17 to boot.
We noticed that the art seems a mix of both Western for us surface-dwellers and more Japanese-style for what can only be the alien(?) race that’s abducted us as well.
If you haven’t picked up the already pretty cheap puzzly visual novel Unhack, it’s also currently going on sale in an indie bundle at the Indie gala for as low as a dollar.
