Earlier in the week, gaming news blog Kotaku leaked screenshots from one of two upcoming Assassin’s Creed games, titled Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Following the leak, Ubisoft have shared an early look at the game themselves.

“We have been working on the new Assassin’s Creed for more than three years,” Ubisoft said, “and although we weren’t quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand!”

“So here’s a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin’s Creed Unity. Stay tuned—we’ll have many more exciting details for you in the months ahead!”

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is in development for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is reportedly set in Paris and is slated for release this holiday.
