The first print of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for PlayStation 3 packs the game with a little art book like Kigndom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. One interesting piece in the Final Fantasy X section is this drawing of Mt. Gagazet from Isamu Kamikokuryo. This piece was created before Tidus and Yuna were finalized so Kamikokuryo imagined the protagonists himself.
Tetsuya Nomura said during the game’s early stages of development, Tidus was going to be a worker who handled piping construction underwater.
The art book also explains Yusuke Naora, art director of Final Fantasy X, traveled to Bali while working on the game. His trip served as inspiration for some of the buildings in Final Fantasy X.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster comes out on March 18 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
