One million players downloaded Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters, a free to play version of Tecmo Koei’s fighting game for PlayStation 3. Core Fighters comes with Kasumi, Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, and Hayate while other characters are available for purchase through microtransactions.

If you download Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters between March 11 and March 31 you’ll get a fifth character – Jann Lee -  for free too. Tecmo Koei says Jann Lee will also soon be available for users that already own the game too.
