Update: Game officially confirmed. Trailer viewable here.
It looks as though news of the next game in the Batman: Arkham series is out in the open. Batman-Arkham.com discovered the game listed on GAME.co.uk, along with mention of a number of new features that will be included in it.
According to GAME’s listing—which has now been taken down—the next game in the series will be titled Batman: Arkham Knight, and is in development for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will take place in Gotham City and make the Batmobile driveable.
GAME’s listing also described Arkham Knight as the “finale” to the Arkham series, and mentioned that the Scarecrow, among other villains, will be making his return.
Additionally, Batman-Arkham.com are also reporting other details on the game. According to the site, the game will allow players to play as Harley Quinn in challenge maps as a pre-order bonus. The image of Harley on the game’s cover above appears to support this.
