Nintendo has a new Wii U bundle for Japan coming on March 27. The Instant Play Sports Premium set includes a white Wii U with 32 GB of storage plus Wii Sports Club (Bowling, Golf, and Tennis) preinstalled, a Wii remote plus, and sensor bar for 30,000 yen.
While Nintendo packaged the Wii with Wii Sports in the West, they didn’t use this strategy in Japan. Wii Sports was sold as a separately and Japanese Wiis did not include any games at launch. Will be interesting to see if this can spark console sales in Japan.
